Charente Horse GroupThe Charente Horse Group was formed in 2006 to benefit horses and their owners by sharing information and contacts and creating a support network.
Many people moving to France with their horses have come from livery yards where they had advice and support on tap, and a network of professionals and services to provide all their equine requirements. The CHG aims to help recreate that yard support, with meetings, events, demonstrations, and a lively Facebook group. Membership is free and open to anyone with an interest in horses, ponies, donkeys and mules. Most of our members live within an hour's drive of Chabanais (16150) but anyone in the Charente-Limousin area is welcome as long as they attend at least one meeting or event. Membership is now mostly through the CHG closed Facebook group - please answer the questions when asking to join. If you do not use Facebook, you can email [email protected] "A horse is a thing of beauty...none will tire of looking at him as long as he displays himself in his splendor."
